Position Overview
AIA Campus intern Staff are responsible for the fulfilment of the mission and vision of Athletes in Action on their local campus and beyond. This role consists of helping those in varsity athletics discover Jesus, grow in their faith, develop their unique potential and put their faith into action as they impact the world.
Primary Objectives for Campus Staff

- Share the gospel with not yet believers and disciple to deeper maturity those who know Jesus already
- Through personal relationships and authentic community, athletes are cared for through discipleship and evangelistic opportunities
- Outreaches, events or activities are organized to give more athletes an opportunity to hear about Jesus, be a part of AIA, and make a decision to follow Jesus
- Equip student to become leaders on their team and to boldly share their faith
- Identify athletes who align with our mission and fit our core values to become interns and/or AIA staff members
- Teach and equip athletes to share their faith
- Challenge athletes to share their faith with their teammates and peers
- Identify and develop their unique gifts and purpose
- Be equipped for a lifetime of Kingdom impact
- Network and build relationships with key influencers on campus in order to open doors with different teams
- Reach out to Athletic Directors, coaches, trainers, and other influencers
- Respond to opportunities to go international with the gospel

Education and Experience:

AIA Alumni Manager
Ministry Overview

Position Overview
The AIA staff member is responsible for engaging AIA alumni who have experienced our ministry first hand in the past. Our hope for this position is to build relationships with these people to invite them to continue journeying with AIA. You will provide them with opportunities to be involved where they can serve and experience Jesus at work. The most important aspect of this role is relationship building but the secondary hope is that we can invite alumni to give to AIA. Success in this role is establishing and strengthening relationships that lead to volunteers and donors.
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following:

- Alumni feel engaged and connected with AIA for years following their graduation from post-secondary.
- Provide an opportunity to journey with those who want to re-engage with AIA
- Provide opportunities to participate in different AIA events (overseas tours, NTC,
Grey Cup, Camps/Clubs) - Encourage their faith through sharing encouraging stories
- Recruit for key roles that AIA needs to fill
- Work with the AIA donor development team to identify potential donors
- Through building relationships with AIA alumni, you will identify those who have the interest and capacity to give financially
- Implement alumni specific initiatives
- Bring fresh alumni engagement ideas to the table in collaboration with with the
donor development team
- Build strong working relationships with AIA staff to identify alumni to engage with
- Ensure good communication with AIA divisional leaders so that alumni relationships are being stewarded well
- Alumni feel engaged and connected with AIA for years following their graduation from post-secondary.
Education & Experience (what is needed for the role):
- You have university degree or equivalent
- You have experience with managing projects and juggling multiple priorities
- You have experience with Athletes in Action and understand who we are (an asset but not necessary)
- You have experience with Salesforce or other CRM (an asset but not necessary)
- You will attend the P2C Staff Conference and the AIA Summit

Administrative Assistant to the National Director

Position Overview
As a part of the AIA National Office staff team, the Administrative Assistant to the National Director is a detail-oriented and solution-minded individual who will work closely with the National Director of AIA. They will function in multiple administrative capacities, including calendar and email management, reconciliation of expenses and travel arrangements, as well as some donor interfacing duties. The Administrative Assistant ensures that the AIA National Director functions at full leadership capacity, helping to move the AIA mission forward of helping people know Jesus.
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following:

- AIA National Director can function at maximum capacity
- Tracking and reporting of expenses in accordance with P2C policies and best
practices - Tracking and updating of donor records and opportunities within P2C donor
database (Salesforce) - Calendar and email management and prioritization
- Provide support and preparation assistance for key events, meeting, and speaking
engagements

- AIA national events are well supported
- Support the Operations Team in planning and executing events of national scope

AIA Youth Initiatives Program Coordinator

Position Overview
The AIA Program Coordinator will work to fulfill the mission of Athletes in Action by assisting the Regional
Director in the implementation of Action Camps and/or Action Clubs and/or other community based sports
initiatives. They are to assist in the areas of: the execution of sport initiatives; the maintaining and tracking of
relationships with local churches and community sports groups; the administrative support necessary to carry
out an Action Camp and/or Club program.
Primary Objectives:

- Assist in establishing and maintaining a schedule of Action Camps
- Help to track current and past partnerships with churches and other organizations.
- Coordinate with the Regional director to implement all details involved in running a camp.
- Assist recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring of coaches for the duration of the summer
camps period with the help of the Coach Development Coordinator and Regional Director.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining Action Club opportunities for athletes
- Help to track current and past partnerships with churches and other organizations.
- Coordinate with the Regional Director to implement all details involved in running a club.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and mentoring of volunteers and coaches for the duration of the Action Club program with the help of the Coach Development Coordinator and Regional Director.

Education and Experience:
- You have university degree or equivalent (preferred, not required)
- You have ministry experience in church, para-church and/or sports ministry (preferred, not required)

- You have administrative skills
- You have a working knowledge of Google’s G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Sites)

AIA Action Clubs Director

Position Overview
The AIA Regional Director encompases a key role in connecting church and non-church partners with opportunities to engage their community with the gospel of Jesus. They will cast a vision for how sport can be used to share about the love of Christ and how it can transform a community. The way this is done with AIA is through working to establish AIA Camps and Clubs in connection with key partners. In addition, this individual will have the opportunity to hire and develop a coaching team, manage an annual budget, and oversee the administrative details necessary to running Camps and Clubs. This position is essential to establishing and maintaining sports ministry opportunities in the region.
About the Role: Primary Objectives:
1. Inspire churches and other organizations with the vision to reach their community with the gospel through sport.
- Develop a network with provincial church bodies
- Build relationships with pastors and other key influencers in your region in order to reach more communities with the gospel through sport
- Explore avenues and opportunities to connect with churches on a personal level, including speaking opportunities to share about the nature and opportunity of sports ministry.
- Cast vision to pastors and other organizations about how a community can be transformed by the power of the gospel through sport
2. Establish, maintain and grow Action Camps and Clubs across the province.
- Oversee and implement an annual budget for the region
- Establish partnerships with churches and other organizations to provide hosts for Action
- Coordinate with the National Camps and Clubs Directors and Operations Manager to implement all details involved in running a camp
