Mexico Day 2: Our First Days

We have finally arrived in Mexico after an long day of travelling overnight. Thank you for your prayers as our full team has arrived altogether safely from Canada,  United States, Colombia, Mexico and Panama.

Our team consists of Heather (AIA tour director), Marietta (AIA staff and athletic therapist), Janae (Calgary), Gillian (Toronto), Amanda (Minnesota), Bekkah (Florida), Lara (Colombia), Zuri (Mexico), Jasmine (Mexico), Dexi (Mexico AIA Staff), Carol (Trinidad AIA STINT staff), and  Selegna (Panama Cru staff).  We are currently partnering with David and Saul – local AIA and Cru staff here in Puebla, Mexico.

Yesterday and today we’ve been training as a team and getting used to the altitude and weather while also preparing for the ministry opportunities we will have in the upcoming weeks. We also went on a prayer walk around the pyramid ruins in San Andres- Cholula as a group. It was a worshipful time praising God and praying for the city, for the country and for the church in Mexico.

We are excited to experience a church service in Spanish tomorrow as well as our first game on Monday!

Please pray for the teams that we will be sharing our testimonies with- for openness to hearing and receiving the good news. As well as pray for our team to be unified and bold in sharing the gospel.
